One of my felt doughnuts has made an appearance in a magazine called ‘Sew stylish’. The magazine is american, but I came across a copy by chance In WHSmiths in Harrogate at the weekend.
I sent the donut to the magazine quite a few months ago, but actually thought no more about it until a customer at my Etsy shop messaged me and said she had seen it in the magazine recently, and could she buy it. I made a mental note to look on the good old internet to try and get hold of a copy. Whilst shopping at the weekend, I noticed the magazine in the shop, but assumed it was a UK version with the same name. I actually flicked through it but didn’t find anything, then put it back on the shelf. For some reason, I went back and had another look, and there was my doughnut! So of course I bought it ( despite it being over £4! ) and I actually like the magazine anyway and will buy it again as it is full of great info on sewing.
